But then I have no clue what the official nebulous qualifications are for a presidential medal of freedom. I mean come on. I could see it being handed out for a work of literature, such as To Kill a Mockingbird but --even though I'm a Potter fan -- the Harry Potter series is simply pulp fiction for kiddies.
Its biggest claim to fame is that it got kids reading again. Maybe that's what the award is for.Comment
