    • It's a decent tune, but holy **** what a lame ass performer. No emotion, no soul, no energy. Blah. Not worth dancing to.

        • Oh that's a Green Day song. I really had no idea who made that song.

And Thoth, punk rock is not danceable It also only possesses angry energy and definitely no soul. Just angry people with distorted guitars who scream into microphones

              • They don't play techno at Philly clubs, Cockney. You should have figured that. (well maybe in the white ones)

Oh and I didn't realize it but Solomon Burke was a Philadelphian

Telling you, Sloww, good music tends to have Philly origins

                    • Oh and Philly dancing is wack. One dance is called 'D-mac' This is it:

And the same guy doing another one called 'Wu-Tang'

It's either that stuff or straight grinding and wally's which I'm sure you can guess what a wally is.

                      • why won't you answer my question? if the answer is no, why not just say no?

also in a city of any size, you'll be able to find all sorts of different music to go and out and dance to. i'm sure philly, despite being a ****hole, is no exception to this rule.

                          • so if you don't go dancing, why the hell are you trying to give a lecture on what people can or can't dance to?! what next, a lecture from you on how to make love to a woman.

as someone who does go out dancing, i can tell you that it is possible and indeed great fun to dance to punk rock or to techno. you should try it sometime.

To make up for posting that club stuff... some real music... so infinitely better than punk rock:

And another from the Philadelphian group The Stylistics... this was a big hit in the UK, Cockney:
