    That should probably read "Science finally found the part of your brain that is responsive to spirituality". That locating religious feelings should be interpreted as identitical to finding a "God spot" is as speculative as that atheism be a neurological disorder. The original article doesn't mention finding a "God spot", but three rather large areas associated with religion and morality. That most Westerners identify religion with God is more likely the result of +1,000 years of Christianization. Atheism actually predates Christianity by a couple of hundreds of years for ancient Greece and China, while Buddhism ofcourse originally was a philosophy rather than a religion in its own right, as it is today.
