How do i report posts? is there any point? Ive seen some things here I rather would not have

Under every post there's a bar with options, like "blog this post" or "edit post"
Between "blog this post" and "edit post" are some small icons, one of them is a triangle with a ! in it.
If you click it you can report a post.
