                          Having once gone round the City of Westminster with someone using a wheelchair, it's still disheartening to find how many shops lack ramps, how many buildings aren't accessible to wheelchair users, how many cashpoints, telephone boxes, information points and so on, are completely irrelevant to people in wheelchairs. This is despite the local council's positive approach to access for people with disabilities.


                          And that's without the attitude wheelchair users get... I sometimes wondered if being able-bodied meant that brain damage ensued on sighting a wheelchair.
