I'm going to have to defend the rightists here. The so-called rightest nutcases are blown out of proportion. People always bring this up when defending islam. The amount of christian extremists is miniscule compared to islamic extremists. Face it, Islam is a **** religion. I don't care how un-PC that is to say. Yes there are good people who follow that religion. But that religion was forced on them, and they are only religious out of custom and to honor their parents.

Saw this on TV at work, had a couple of questions:
--It said he brought a rifle "into the museum." The sound was off, I only read the little title, but how does one sneak a rifle into a museum in June? In winter, sure; just wear a long coat with the gun tucked in. But in June? Did he do the Terminator 2 thing and carry around a box of roses?
--In the little CNN news scroll at the bottom, it noted repeatedly, "35 dead from car bomb in Iraq" during the twenty-some minutes they brought in talking heads to cover the attack (one guard dead, another wounded). Is this a sign of the Jewish Media Control, the public getting bored of Iraq attacks, or simply a lack of interest in foreign dead people?

As Obama has said, this should remind all us to remain vigilant against anti-Semitism and all other forms of prejudice and bigotry.
Anti-semitism is normally a leftist affair in the US.
Rev. Jeremiah Wright says "Jews" are keeping him from President Obama
... Asked if he had spoken to the president, Wright said: "Them Jews aren't going to let him talk to me. I told my baby daughter, that he'll talk to me in five years when he's a lame duck, or in eight years when he's out of office. ...

My wife had gall bladder surgery today (she's fine, thanks), and the hospital she was in was the one to which both the security guard and the shooter were brought. So I was there, in the OR waiting room, when one of the guard's family members (his sister, I'm guessing from subsequent news coverage) was told he'd died. I have never heard such howls of pure, raw grief and anguish in my life; it was utterly horrifying (as well as deeply sad), and it's now my fondest hope that I may go the rest of my life without ever again hearing anything even approximating her fathomless despair.
No moral there; I just thought I'd try to inject a little humanity and perspective into this thread before it turned into the usual (these days) snarky circle jerk. Carry on."I have as much authority as the pope. I just don't have as many people who believe it." — George Carlin
