Why is there no thread on the most important current event? ST
I have high hopes, but it has been so long since ST did something right I can't help but be a little bit cautious with my expectations.

I was a little put off seeing post-apocalyptic rebel humans flying A-10 Thunderbolts during the preview.

That's because Americans are dumb. But since they don't know they are dumb they shoot movies about them doing a dumb things without any hesitation.
A bunch of post-apocalyptic rebel humans kicking some cyborg aces with A-10 pales in comparison with a bunch of monkey-like tribal donkeys flying Tornados to kick some alien aces in Battlefield Earth. Battlefield Earth was a real classic
And T-4 has potential to be even better
It's dumb because the A-10 was, unfortunately, retired. It did blow up many soviet tanks in its day though.

p.s. I'm a great fan of the series and looking forward to see the Salvation. I really hope it will be MUCH better than the T-3 aka "T-2 copy/paste" disaster.
