    Just to be clear: everyone voting "No:--

    You have just apprehended Osama bin Laden. He says there will be more attacks soon. He asks for a lawyer and a phone call to authorize that attack. He also wants a goat so he can masturbate.

    No torture? Really? **** you.

    Would Jesus have tortured?

      In this case, torture would be a last, desperate resort for a failed U.S. effort against Islamic terrorism.

              I don't support it though.

              Success in the fight against terrorism should not hinge on the confessions of a tortured ringleader. If intelligence operations were anything approaching decent, we would already know most of what he could tell us.

                That is so stupid it's unbelievable. How can intelligence know everything bin Laden knows? It doesn't even know if Saddam has WMD or not. Obviously in an ideal world it would know everything and no one would need torture. This is reality.

                      He had WMD. Bush couldn't prove it. Personally, I think they found their way to Syria.

                            Hmm, how or where can I find out who voted for what?

                            Other than that any action causing severe pain is to be defined as torture, so that includes sleep deprivation and the like.
