FIAT didn't learn much from Daimler-Benz. Or maybe they did....

I think they learned not to put any money into Chrysler.
I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. Remember this if ever you are stranded in these parts. ~ Rudyard Kipling, 1891

Fiat get to cherry pick the good bits of Chrysler's rusting corpse without being exposed to the debt...

Oh well, no use 'chrying' over spilt milk - the morons were already heading towards extinction years ago and didn't even know it...

GM threw $10 billion in cash down the rathole last quarter. Please, put them out of their misery ASAP!

                    Take 'em down

On the flip side F continues to be strong and my bank plays are paying off nicely. DOW (Dow Chemical) has surprised me, might take up some more as they are contracting because of dilution. Also, looking into retail and grocery stores for the upswing out of a recession.

Stop throwing money down the rathole conservatives.
