No hatred against Muslims here. I just think Islam, or at least its political-ideological component, is comparable to, if not worse than, National Socialism.

Why is it that nobody takes communism seriously today? Because it has been repeatedly implemented, and has repeatedly and spectacularly failed.

I just want the same process to happen to the Islam. Let it be implemented, and let it crash and burn. That fireworks display should be enough to convince the civilised world that Islam really is a bad idea.

And the beauty of my idea is that it is exactly what a lover of Islam would do. He'd want it implemented because he would have the idea that it would succeed. I want it to be implemented because I know that it will fail. The best part is that three objectives are achieved at one go - the threat India from our immediate Islamic neighbours goes away, Islam is discredited in the eyes of the entire world, and whatever "revenge fantasies" people may have are dissipated (because it's pointless trying to take revenge on something which is killing itself far more efficiently, and much more creatively, than you ever could).

Yeah, like the Hindu caste system worked so brilliantly right? The only reason you are not worse then fanatical islam is that you aren't expansionist enough to bother the west.

Okay, so first we have someone calling for use of WMDs on a whole people, and now we have another one, wildly attacking a world religion. Welcome to the Hofbräuhaus.

Yes, your suggestion was entirely reasonable.

Being a world religion does not place you above criticism. Specially when you make political-ideological claims.

Speaking of which, how about that Bhagavad-Gita in your sig? A lovely moral: "Don't ask questions, shut up and kill everybody, it's going to happen anyway."

You're confusing a social system with a religious one.

Even though I don't subscribe to any of the theology behind it, I agree, it's an excellent moral. Don't hide your cowardice behind some phony moral justification you made up on the spot. It's totally unmanly.

Arjuna, confronted by many members of his extended family on the field of battle, became afraid, and like a total wuss, was trying to use some moral pretext to avoid fighting. He needed a good kick to get him going.

Imagine if, instead of hiding their cowardice behind some phony moral high ground and the policy of appeasement, the European powers had taken Hitler head on much earlier? How many lives would have been saved? How much suffering avoided?

                        Distinction w/o difference.

Organized Religions exist (in part) to tell people how to live.

What about Hitler being a little more ´coward´ and try to find a morale justification for what he was doing?

If you're talking about the Taliban leadership, you're right. But lots of the rank and file and just schlubs who've been swept up in the moment. We* can peel these guys off, and then...er...neutralize the leadership.
