I see that Grandpa Troll has added some text to the Wikipedia article. But it will have to be rewritten or deleted, because of its wrong style. Articles must be written in Neutral Point of View, so formulations like "Expansion packs for many games have kept our fanbase growing" are right out. Wikipedia is not Apolyton's online advertising space.

Also, because of the importance of being able to assume good faith, The login "Grandpa Troll" has been blocked. It is kind of hard to assume good faith when the login clearly says the editor is a troll. Yes, I realize that Grandpa Troll had no intention of trolling Wikipedia, and that we are not assuming good faith in blocking his username .

NPOV doesn't really matter so long as it is verified. If you wanted to pull the quote, you'd have to argue that it was peripheral to the subject matter at hand. If the page were 'Calgary Flames', then yes, you could do that. But if there was a page called 'Calgary Flames Fans', then yes it would be pertinent.

It seems you have been caught in a bit of overzealous automated blocking, because you are using the IP of a recently blocked account. The admin who blocked GrandpaTroll used too strict settings, IMO. I am an administrator on the English Wikipedia, and have just unblocked GrandpaT, so it should work now.

Much of the content seems ok, but the tone is all wrong

Would be much more acceptable (I think) as

Apolyton and the Apolyton forums also covers game expansions, hosts game modders, Pitboss games, Democracy games, PBEM games, and single player challenges.

Now it doesn't sound like an ad created by an Apolyton staffer .

Same with the other three paragraphs. They just need a bit of change of tone.

Links to poly should be fine. Normally (but not strictly always), you should use the same format as in the trivia section where the [2] points to a link in the "references" section. Look at the source of the trivia section to see how this is done.

Alternatively, links to poly belongs in the "external links" section.

Funny thing, I saw Thue's comments yesterday, so i went to action, tried many different names to see if one would be acceptable (including first choice which thanks to you Thue is ok) but anyhow, today i went to get on as MrCiv was an alternate choice and someone had bklocked me because, of all thing, abuse of too many accounts?/

But Im sure they dont know me, I was merely trying to work around Grandpa Troll
