  • Croatia and Albania join NATO

I've been looking at the pictures of institutions in Washington DC. Many are in Greco-Roman style. Two thousand years ago such buildings were built on the Croatian (then Roman) coast. For a moment I think, great, we joined the military alliance of the West, where we belong ever since we first burned down a Roman city and set up camp in the ruins

But then I remember that Albania (a muslim country) also joined. That reminds me NATO is just another calculated organization, not a romantic club, and I sober up. Will I one day be mobilized to fight American wars who-knows-where? Who can say. I supported our membership application.

Anyway, since it seems the administration here makes sure nobody from Albania can post on this forum, I thought I'd make a thread about this significant event.

    Tools.
Christianity: The belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree...

Thus does NATO sink into irrelevance...

No, this is good news. For both Croatia, Albania and NATO.

              The more the merrier.

Ignore Che as he is a communist who hates the west.

I don't hate the West. I hate imperialism. I like the West and want it to go communist.

Marx considered Croats one of the "nonhistorical" peoples, agricultural and reactionary. Thus they should or shall (I don't remember) "perish".

Afterwards we had our fair share of Commies. Josip Broz Tito of Yugoslavia fame was half-Croat.

Communism is dead here now, I'm happy to report. It is not banned, but a communist party doesn't exist, for example. No interest.

I'm sure the Americans will be thrilled to find out they can squeeze out another 200 or so troops to fight their petty wars

I loved how the Croats saved up, snuck up...and kicked ass on the Serbs.

Croatia in the NATO? Sure, a good and natural move.
