My personal stance is irrelevant here, notice I put little things around the word "cure". They are called quotation marks and indicate that the word between them doesn't have exactly the same meaning as it usually does.
You can't cure a pedophile by pumpimg his body full of chemicals. You can only repress his sexual feelings and wants that way. You can do the same to a homosexual, and he will stop feeling anything physical towards other males. You can do the same to me, and "cure" me of any sexual feelings. You can cut thief's hands off and claim you've reformed him. But in all these cases, it's not a cure, it's bull****.
And now it's time to talk about my personal stance. I technically see no difference between pedophilia and homosexuality. Both are sexual deviations, in both cases the object of attraction is abnormal. However, they differ in the relationships between the one afflicted by it and the society. Homosexuals can find a consenting partner, pedophiles, by definiton, cannot.

That'll be kind of hard considering the fact that its not a well researched area. But I'd be willing to bet that the Jesus pedophile (he who is without sin and all that) you are positing the existance of is a vanishingly small phenomena.

I, to some extent, agree with onodera: homosexuality is a paraphilia or whatever it is called. Only heterosexual vaginal intercourse if fully "normal". But, unlike paedophilia, homosexuality does no harm per se, is consentual etc. There are other differences: I don't think You become a paedophile the same way you get to be homosexual.
