What I meant was the debate about whether a lover likes circumcised versus uncircumsized is primarily up to personal preference. Likewise, any issue about whether it's better during sex, or better for daily hygiene, etc.

I don't mean to say that the decision to have a circumcision or not is personal preference. As you point out, in the majority of cases it's done to the individual at a young age without consent.

But all surgery with a minor under 18 is done with consent of the parent.
Even if corrective surgery is needed for a birth defect.
