I'm sure a bunch of Trolls will attack me for this but I'm going to defend Obama or at least try to clarify what I think he meant.
If you watch the video he says the Special Olympics line after he get a bunch of applause from the audience and Leno himself over what is an un-impressive score. His meaning is clearly "This is Pity clapping your giving me" the same kind people give to the Special Olympics. If anything he is trying to say "Its OK to say what you really think about my bowling". It's already clear what Obama meant; he meant that he bowls like a mentally handicapped person. That's technically not true (some mentally handicapped people bowl much better than he does), but it was a pretty harmless attempt at self-deprecating humor.Comment
