  • Dry. It's a book I have on the curriculum, the other one is way more interesting really.

And yes, that is right. I haven't come to that part of the book yet though.

      Riviting stuff.
I don't know why he saved my life. Maybe in those last moments he loved life more than he ever had before. Not just his life - anybody's life, my life. All he'd wanted were the same answers the rest of us want. Where did I come from? Where am I going? How long have I got? All I could do was sit there and watch him die.

Now that I have finished the paper I had to do on caste in Indian history, I finally can move on to the books for the next paper, D.R. SarDesai's "India. The Definite History" and "A History of Pakistan and its Origins." by Christophe Jaffrelot. The first one I know is good, I had to read some of it for the first paper I did this semester, the other one will be interesting to see how is.

          • Just finished "Out of the Silent Planet" and "Perelandra", and am now in the midst of "That Hideous Strength", all part of C.S. Lewis' space trilogy. Pretty interesting/good, but it's kind of hard to call it science-fiction when you pretty much have God in the story, if by another name. I like this third book's use of Arthurian myth, though.

                • Are the sequels worth reading? I have insufficient attachment to the main character to ask, but enjoyed the book enough to temporarily abandon The Game of Thrones.
