Art Spiegelman's Mouse. Not really a 'book', but since everyone was full of praise on this one I figured I had better read it too

It was okay, but the overall acclaim Spiegelman received for this book is a bit exaggerated I think.

Jared Diamond's Collapse. I came across this one in the bookstore only days after I finished guns, germs and steel. Just had to pick this one up

          I've already finished it.

It's a classic. Can't die without having read it.

That's what I was told before I read it, too.

On topic -- I'm reading the Brief Wondrous life of Oscar Wao by "I'm too lazy to google his name". Very good so far, would probably be better if I knew Spanish, or at least Spanish slang

I've started Plato's Politeia the other day despite having read half of it before in an ancient philosophy course. I preferred the first read though, but it's in a different translation now that I'm not too fond of. Still a good read.

I just finished Juliette by the Marquis de Sade. Good god.. 1200 pages! I hated it! I was ready for it to be done @ 600 pages!

Trying to figure out what to read next.. more Octavia Butler or maybe some Pam Houston.

About to start reading Bertrand Russel's Authority and the Individual. He's often referred to, but I've never read or learned anything about him before so I'm intrigued..
