I think Bernard and Rose would be good. They've disappeared since the Others attacked the beach camp, but I don't think they died there. I think they made their way to the caves and died relatively peacefully, sort of an ideal love story in the series.
Okay, I am dying to see pre-boarding Ajira flashbacks for Kate (what happened to Aaron?), Sayid (how'd he end up arrested as the new Kate, and get on that flight?), Hurley (how'd he get released and find out about that flight?), and especially Ben--did that ferret-faced mother****er kill Penny? Desmond?
How'd they end up on the island in the Dharma days? And how did Jin and the rest end up flashing there? Last we saw of them, they had flashed to a time without the well, let alone the Orchid.

I can't wait for the Locke episode next week. I've been wondering for quite a while what Locke had said to everybody.
I wonder about the significance of that guy from Vantage Point. His actual name is Saïd Taghmaoui, but IMDB says the character is called Caesar.
The Aaron question is good. I guess Kate either handed him to his grandmother, or they might have taken a really grim turn and had her kill him to protect him. She is pretty damn crazy.
I loved Hurley buying all the empty seats so fewer people would be potentially killed when the EVENT happened.
It's almost as if all his overconfident, absolutist assertions were spoonfed to him by a trusted website or subreddit. Sheeple

Yeah, his concern for the other passengers vs Ben's comment when Jack asked him about it.
I laughed.

I was wondering about this too. Did Locke stop the time jumps by putting the wheel back on its axis thus it wasn't slipping anymore? If he did stop the time jumps then they could be on this island during the very early days of Dharma before they built the Orchid, and the losties stuck on the island just blended in with Dharma. This way we can learn all about the Dharma initiative.

Yes. By Lost standards, that part was pretty clear. The island stopped bouncing in time when Locke went through the Orchid.
This season is very impressive narratively. It's a clever trick to show the history of the island, and explain the wacky mysteries, without having too many 8mm film reels or flashback episodes. It keeps the main characters (the surviving ones anyways) in the action while giving exposition.
Just finished rewatching the first two seasons on DVD. There were actually TWO allusions to nuclear weapons regarding the hatch; Sayid saying the only other time he had heard about this must concrete was Chernobyl, and also in the season two finale, when Eko is attempting to blow open the blast door with dynamite, Desmond says that it'd take an atom bomb to blow it open. I am utterly, 100% convinced that Jughead ended up in the Swan, and the button pushed had something to do with it.
Also, after watching that gutpunch of a season finale, if Ben does kill Penny, I will want to see that little ****er skinned alive.
On another note, I wonder if the O6+ all ended up in the same timeframe or not. Maybe Jack, Kate, and Hurley are stuck in the DI era with Jin, Sawyer, Daniel, Juliet, and Miles, (and Rose and Bernard we can only assume), but Sayid and Sun--and possibly Ben, the woman who had Sayid in custody, that little dude, and even Frank--ended up in "real time", 2007 or whatever. Hence the outriggers with the Ajira Airlines water bottles at the 815ers camp...

Surely Kate didn't kill Aaron, that would be too much.
Hmmmm.... If Jack, Hurley, Kate and Jin are back in the DI era maybe the rest of the season will be devoted to getting them back in the right time era.
since they're in the DI era then they may meet Ben at a younger age. Will they try to stop him from wiping out the DI, or will their presence somehow trigger Ben's revolt? Maybe they'll meet Ben and Charles Whidmore.
