I'm pretty sure civilisation is anywhere outside the economic zone of here.

But work issues dictate that I must remain in isolation, at home, with no family, only with 24 hour room service and pina colada's by the pool to consol myself with.

Ah! At last Christmas has come! Tomorrow it's off to church and then to a lovely dinner with my family. And then, when the food has been eaten and the coffee has been served, we can relax in the sofa while the kids go berzerk with the present opening.

Hire a local to fax all the incoming papers to you in the Phils.

Do whatever you have to do...but in the Phils.

When you're done with the paperwork, fax it back to the local schlub, who delivers the papers to their proper destinations.

The powers that be will never know you're gone.

But consider this: Perhaps Mr. Potter wasn't just a heartless Scrooge. Perhaps Mr. Potter, in the absence of sufficient regulatory oversight, was the one voice of sanity keeping the good people of Bedford Falls from over-leveraging themselves.

Perhaps, if we had all taken Mr. Potter a little bit more seriously, we wouldn't be in this mess to begin with.
