So the only think you and BK have ever agreed on is that neither of you want to live here. That's either a really good sign, or a bad one
I love Alberta, but it's a bad place to be when the Federal Government is Liberal or NDP. To them it's just a source of money.

I have occasionally wondered what keeps many souls in Canada. Same with Alaska, although some there are the pioneering types who want to shoot moose, etc. Canada has a drawback of a government, although orrs hasn't done too well recently. And, of course Canada is very, very cold.

I can't speak for Ontario, Vancouver, or Edmonton...but we have a good hockey team in Calgary.

Detroit has a good team, but it is not an exciting team to watch. It's a team full of soulless Euros and no-name goaltenders.

The Red Wings win titles, though, unlike Canadian teams. There's something to be said for that.
It's a good team. Just boring. I was in Detroit a couple years ago for a playoff game, and there were tons of empty seats.
Calgary won in '04, but the officiating (probably bribed by the American sleezeball Bettman ) conspired to **** it up.
I won't hear anything else.

Google bought my old company headquarters. I remember when we'd look across the street at their little offices. Then, one day, a few guys were rolling their chairs across the street and moved into the large building next door. A year or so later our building was sold to them. Ah well, I don't work their anymore.
I like both locations. I have never lived in Seattle but have been many times. If I had to live anywhere in the bay area it would probably be Los Gatos or Palo Alto Hills, if I could afford it... which I can't, and is why I move to lovely Cincinnati. Don't come here, we hate your kind.

Some of us like the cold. Or more accurately hate the heat.
