From what I've seen on rotten.com and other websites, I can't imagine surviving a shotgun blast from point-blank range. In most cases the face and head are literally blown away.

I prefer jumping off a skyscraper, but I wouldn't have the guts for it. Otherwise strapping a big load of explosives around my waist. The body gets obliterated instantly, and at least I could then take a collection of other bastards with me

My guess is that the numbers for pills are underestimates for effectiveness of serious attempts (most OD suicide "attempts" are probably pathetic teenage girls; same with cutting wrists) but it's still fairly difficult to work out a dose that will kill you but not make you puke before you die.

Yeah, you could pick right ****. But that requires some research. And why would grinding pills up be better? I know you'll absorb it faster, but I would guess that you would also puke faster.
