Mustn't have been that special, I think I've seen that film twice and I can't recall it, I know it ends with him freaking out and trying to kiss her IRL and she's like "eewww you've got cooties!" or something.
Learn to overcome the crass demands of flesh and bone, for they warp the matrix through which we perceive the world. Extend your awareness outward, beyond the self of body, to embrace the self of group and the self of humanity. The goals of the group and the greater race are transcendant, and to embrace them is to acheive enlightenment.

Agreed. Usually, when they fall on their faces, it's because of a hypercuties ending...like in The Truth About Cats and Dogs, You Got Mail and Never Been Kissed.

But French Kiss, American President, One Fine Day, Only You, While You Were Sleeping, Pretty Woman, My Best Friend's Wedding, Fools Rush In are all fine films.

Pretty Woman and One Fine Day rocked. So did My Best Friend's Wedding.

You forgot When Harry Met Sally, the best of the romantic comedies.

home alone, Billy Crystal is very funny in the movie.

In the spirit of the thread, I'll even admit that I liked Club Dread, though nowhere near as much as Super Troopers.

                        • Club Dread and Super Troopers are hardly guilty pleasures. They're not quite embarrassing enough for that.

And I know what you meant about Red Dawn - I was just embracing my jingoistic heritage.

Clueless is a great movie. I don't feel guilty about it, since it's so great, but some people just don't get it.
                          John Brown did nothing wrong.

I agree on Super Troopers, but Club Dread is pretty iffy there.
