  • There's also nothing to be guilty about with regards to Clue. It's almost universally-recognized as a classic.

That guy reminds me of Armed and Dangerous, another movie I'm ashamed to like every time it's on cable. John Candy and Eugene Levy, how can you go wrong?

"Gee Frank let's hide in the sauna, real good. Lucky you didn't pick the barbeque pit, or Carlino would have had a sudden craving for ribs!"

"You couldn't possibly be that stupid."
      "Well I don't know... I think I could be!"

      "Lost three more teeth today!"
      "Oh... wow."

And of course that scene with the psycho rocket-fuel trucker just made the ending:

      "Climb on in here slim!"

        More guilty pleasures:

Going Ape! Tony Danza, Danny Devito and three orangutans.

Cannonball Run I & II, for the end credits if nothing else. These movies are why blooper reels are so common today.

Last Action Hero came out when I was in the Navy, I read about how bad it was, when I finally saw it, my expectations were really low. The movie exceeded expectations.

        ACK!

          "My cat?!"

"Choked on the goldfish. ... Oh it's good to back isn't it Robin?"
"Every time they make a Robin Hood movie, they burn our village down."
          "Leave us alone, Mel Brooks!"
"You say that it is your custom to burn widows. Very well. We also have a custom: when men burn a woman alive, we tie a rope around their necks and we hang them. Build your funeral pyre; beside it, my carpenters will build a gallows. You may follow your custom. And then we will follow ours."--General Sir Charles James Napier

              • Actually I thought Nicholson made for a halfway believable US President in Mars Attacks.

Merkin Muffley might have the least believable name of any US President in cinema...

                • Mars Attacks is also a guilty pleasure of mine.

Another one is Unbreakable, I like the pre-superhero/super-villian story.

has the great part about how men and women can't be friends. I should have took that advice earlier in life.

                          • I watched that but I don't know enough about Star Trek to get more than about 14% of all the jokes in that. Decent fun, but a little silly, or at least it seemed to an outsider like me.
