      • Please cite ONE example of a church being forced to marry a gay couple in Canada. This has NOT happened, there IS no example, and you are a LIAR with ZERO INTEGRITY.

Right here. That's just one instance.

It was "imposed" by our constitution.
When did we get to have a free vote on this matter like the folks in the US? Never.

If it's good enough for the people of CA, then it's good enough for Canada.

Canada's elected representatives were given a FREE VOTE on the matter and did NOT overturn the ruling.
Again, when did the people of Canada get a chance to vote on Gay Marriage? Never. So it has been imposed on us by judicial fiat.

I notice you've evaded the point about Steven Boissoin, who was a pastor who got arrested in Canada for preaching the Gospel.

Care to discuss how that is a defense of our freedom of speech and religion? If you sincerely believe that Gay Marriage isn't going to take rights away from people, this is the clear evidence of the contrary.

It's not sexual unless you make it so. It's no more sexual than discussing your typical nuclear family. It's two people who love eachother.
Thank you. Two gay people have admitted that gay marriage follows right behind with K-12 education about homosexuality. I rest my case.

        • Liar.

          1) Not about a wedding, about a reception in a hall.
          2) Not about them declining service, but HOW they did it.

Did you even read the damn article?

It's a Catholic hall and you hold a gay reception in it?

How is that not forcing the church to perform gay marriages on their property? I'm sorry, the church should have tossed them out.

              2) Not about them declining service, but HOW they did it.

The building is clearly owned by the Knights, you've got their Catholic stuff all over it.

I think that should have been the clue right there.

No mention of gay people setting fires. How do you know the vandals in these instances (none of which are described as fires) were gay? Are you psychic?

Not a single mention of any property damage, just angry protesters. Yawn.

                I suspect the same story.

Not a mention of fires. Spray painting is all that's described. OoooooooooOOOOOOOOOOOOooooh. You do realize that petty vandalism isn't remotely comparable to arson as a crime, right?

Some Catholic churches are accepting of gays, so who knows? Regardless, it's not a wedding, it's a reception. Those aren't the same thing, you nimrod. And in no way was it requiring the Church to officiate a gay marriage. So your claims that churches are being forced to marry gay couples is still patently false.

Nobody said they didn't realize the hall was owned by Catholics, fool. Did you read the ****ing ruling? It explicitly states that churches can refuse on religious grounds, that was NOT the issue. Jebus, you just can't stop...

Stop pretending like gays everywhere are burning mormon temples. I assure you, far more heterosexuals have murdered homosexuals than homosexuals have burned churches. Don't play this game, Ben, it's low even for you.

That, is an illogical statement. You obviously would care if someone were to kill you. If I took this at face value, I could kill you and you wouldn't mind because you don't care about what happens after you die.
You're right in that this is an illogical statement on your behalf. It is not a contradiction to say I don't care what happens after I die and I'd like to live. I'm all for continuing living, but once I'm gone, logically why do I care what happens?

You still haven't grasped Kant's argument that logical actions are in and of themselves self-sustaining.
That's because you never brought it up and I'm not arguing with Kant, I'm arguing with your assertion that if one was "purely logical", heterosexual marriage will make sense.

Illogical actions are contrary to their own nature, which is why they lead to their own extinction.
So Kant agrees that it is illogical for gay people to marry women?

I honestly don't give a **** what Kant says. And you're pretending that we're having a different discussion on a higher level, when we're not. I'm asking you to defend your statement and you can't. You keep deferring to other arguments that are conceptually beyond you that other people have made because you can't ****ing think for yourself.

If you sincerely believe that humanity is a plague that ought to be wiped off the planet, then why would you mind if I killed you, since it would only be hastening the inevitable?
As I have repeatedly said, I'm merely honouring your assumption of the thought process of a "purely logical" gay man. Logically, it is in my interest to continue existing. Logically, what happens after I'm gone has no impact on me.

                            1. Their actions are not logical.
I forget the context of this quote and I'm going to assume you are referring to the opponents of gay marriage. In such a case, you are -- for once -- correct.

                            2. Their actions affect others around them, as we are seeing up here in Canada. It has had a profound negative effect on our freedom of speech and religion because gay people cannot abide by dissonance to their religion of tolerance.
You are a ****ing liar. We have not had any negative effects of gay marriage in Canada except for a bunch of happier, more free gay people. That scares you, so you make this **** up.

Good question. There's a reason why you folks are more likely to die at 40.
Gay men are far healthier than their straight counterparts on average. While it is true gay men may die earlier than straight statistically, this has a lot to do with mental health issues brought on by people like you that can lead to destructive lifestyles. You Christians also tend to murder gay people a lot.

But if you want to trade away half your life for fun now, who am I to argue otherwise?
You honestly think I'm going to die at 40? What the ****?

I'm a virile young man in a monogamous, committed relationship that goes to the gym and eats healthy. You're a midget with clear mental problems and a hearing defect on top of your state of perpetual bachelorhood. I've got good money on me living far longer than you.
