    Celebrating Veterans Day early!

    Today Sunday service at Metropolitan Community Church had a special dedication at the end for local veterans. The pastor had veterans in the congregation stand up and assemble at the front of the church for recognition of their services. Many of them I'm sure are gay and lesbian.

    Then I'm thinking I will go back to Washington DC either later today or on Tuesday (have that day off from work) to visit the Vietnam Wall.


    How are you going to be celebrating Veterans Day?
    A lot of Republicans are not racist, but a lot of racists are Republican.

            Man, the USA sure knows how to treat the vets.

            Why can't Canadians be so patriotic?

            I'll be going to the cenotaph for the service.

                I'll have lunch with a friend of mine who was in the Canadian Army in WWII. (He refused to accept any thanks on Veteran's Day because during the war, he never made it out of Canada.) Then I'm off the a combination Veteran's Day BBQ & birthday party for another buddy of mine.

                I'll also have to stop off at Poly to offer my thanx to Lancer, SlowwHand and our other veterans.
