Naw. I'm sure brunettes and redheads could also do great things even if they don't bleach their hair

I think it's the perfect song for this time... it has everything from theft to the refutation of bailouts to taking responsibility. Now if only Congress and Wall Street could have such an epiphany as Jewel...

Its off to Eugene for one last shopping before the trip. Got a bunch of construction stuff to get. Stainless screws, those little cross shaped spacers for tile, lots of stuff. I get to wander around a home center.

All has to be ready for the last of the boxes to be shipped Wednesday.

So you sent over all the toys first... and they'll be there in time? But the construction materials are being sent over last minute and may take a month or more to get there?

I see how it is... you're going over there for fun and relaxation aren't you? Arent you?

Fookin A. Besides, gotta break in the hammocks so they're ready for the planning stage of the projects.

Dolores is putting the tile tweadles in her luggage so that Sho has them. The toys...such as the compressor, won't be there for a while but we got no boat so....

Any project 'we' do will likely involve just instruction anyway. Unless...you chose to do something manual. I want to put together some trusses for the salacot that will allow someone (such as yourself) to climb up and sack out for the right there over the ocean.

Reminds me. I got 4 lbs of stainless screws to pack into the luggage.

Don't try to carry them on... they'll think you're going to arm the whole plane, and naturally suspect we're all terrorists... Then we'll be screwed!

I always do that. I get the free homeland security prostate exam and then when they pass me (or I pass them) they check the screws as luggage and np! Remember we got alot of hours in the airports, gotta find amusement where one can.

I think I'll stick to um... I haven't flown since I was 6 so I really don't know what to do in airports... but I'm not going to be screwing around with security protocols, that's for sure!

No, in all seriousness even a joke can bring the security down on you.

You'll have to go through metal detectors, remove your shoes but not socks, possibly get patted down, remove all metal incl belt, watch, keys whatever.

Last go round my friend brought with him a lightweight fishing vest and carried all his stuff in the many pockets. Then when he got to the metal detector revolving belt thing he just took it off and tossed it in. Done.

I looked all over for one of those today but its out of season here so none to be found.

I was wondering, I plan on taking my steel toe boots for hiking and possibly for working if I get around to any of that... I wasn't sure if I should pack them checked, or wear them. Being the bulkiest and heaviest of the footwear I'm taking, it would help free up space/weight in my checked bags if I could wear them, and they're actually rather comfortable. Certainly better for the SLC side of the trip than my sandals.

But wasn't sure if the metal in the toe would be a problem or not?
