Losing Alaska won't really do much to help the rest of us, though.

I'd propose ceding Arkansas, Alabama and Missississippi instead. That's 21 solidly Republican Electoral Votes taken off the board.

As nice as it would be to have some Gulf Coast property I can't in all good faith bring that offer back to my government. I have a family to feed.

Alright... you can have every red state from the past election except those bordering the Atlantic Ocean, the Mississippi River (Mississippi excluded) and those bordering Mexico. We'll also keep West Virginia if you insist.

We're talking giving Canada an unbroken swath of land from Hudson Bay to the Gulf of Mexico. PLUS you'd get Utah and could **** with Mormons on gay marriage.
