And in other defecting-Republicans endorsement news, Colin Powell has announced his support for Obama.

Edit: NM, Mr. Fun has a whole thread on it: http://apolyton.net/forums/showthrea...hreadid=181392

The Houston Chronicle, another Bush '04 paper (LBJ was the last Dem that they endorsed), just endorsed Obama.

The circulation of Bush '04 papers that endorsed Obama alone exceeds McCain's total.

That all amounts to nothing if Fox is still feeding its viewers with McCain propaganda. Newspapers don't hold the power

While that's generally true, the asymmetry in newspaper endorsements is still pretty bewildering...

              He already endorsed McCain.

This is a much bigger deal than the Powell endorsement.

Yes, well. The Tribune did endorse Bush in 2004.

Though, you're not saying anything you haven't before in this thread.

I understand that disappointment. There's really not much else for you to say.

Well, she's right. By supporting Obama, she's made it clear she's not a real conservative.

Which is why real conservatives wished that she had been aborted.

After all, what pisses a conservative off more than a traitor like Obama, and people who pal around with terrorists like him?

Right, Ben. That's why they endorsed, among others, Landon, Wilkie, Dewey, Goldwater, Ford and Dole. Yep, they're just cunning opportunists.

The L.A. Times endorsed Obama as well.

The last Presidential candidate it endorsed was Nixon.
