Yeah, we saw that with Florida in 2000 pretty well.

OK. So one seat can flip.

Harper would need nine or ten flips.

It isn't going to happen, 19 times out of 20.

        Based on 144 Tories...

Harper laid siege to the GTA and made inroads. He was checked in Quebec, but held onto previous gains. The Tories have a stronger minority in the midst of economic bombs going off. I'd call it a Conservative win.

        The next one, well...

Oh, and 62 or so Tories west of Manitoba, to five Liberals.

143 to 75 Conservative to Liberal. Suck the shift, Dion. And a big **** you to a national party that doesn't give a **** if it is west of Thunder Bay.

That's why you don't call the places that are that close. You call the places where one guy has a 2-to-1 margin. If you have that kind of margin after 10% of the votes have been counted, unless there's some serious bias in which votes were counted first. Now if there's a couple % lead with 10% counted, then yes, you don't call it.

Dion gave a good speech in defeat. If he could have grown to learn there is more to the country than central Canada and idiots in favour of Kyoto, he could have made a good run.

The real way forward is to push Quebec out.

                              WOW, SHAME ON YOU EDMONTON!

You guys are projected to put an NDP MP in government.

I'm immediately beginning motions to kick Edmonton out of the Republic of Alberta.

I'm a bit surprised - I was expecting the Liberals to hold unto their "property".

Duceppe did well considering he got only 38% of the vote. He did mention "sovereignty" twice in his speech, requiring me to drink two shooters (that was the gamble).
