    Good advice all around.

    The skellies are ass-kicking for everything except the bosses. Just pump them full of points. Yes, curses are powerful but you can do without them, and at most you shouldn't need more then a point or two into each.

    I would think Decrep is more useful for a summon necro, in slowing down bosses, rather then amp damage.
    Scouse Git (2) La Fayette Adam Smith Solomwi and Loinburger will not be forgotten.

      You're right that Decrepify is better, but it has three prerequisite skills. Amplify damage has no prerequisite, and it's good enough that it can be a real help. Since it only takes one skill point, someone who's stuck on a boss can level up once and grab it.

      You're right though about Decrepify. It combines a significant enemy damage reduction with half of Amplify Damage's damage increase. It's a better curse for bringing down big bad act bosses.

        OK. I was very angry at that 3 ancient fellows. It seems hey gave me one level boost just when I was a tiny bit from reaching it myself. not fair. Or did they gave me something else, and I reached a new level just at the end of fight with them by a coincidence?

        Anyway, I've found a great weapon, giving 111-161 damage, so I got very strong.
        One of the hardest tasks were Baal's minions. The poisonous ones (I took some anti-poison stuff and beat them without a problem then) and the last ones. These were horrible. A single one was no match, but I almost got killed a couple of times due to their mass attack. I attempted a tactic of running in circle hitting them with my strong bone ghost spell, but it didn't work, so I was singling them out and killing them one by one, but it was hard.
        Baal himself was disappointing. No match at all, perhaps due to my high resistance in all 4 stuff.

          Amplify Damage has an additional use at higher levels of play - it can break physical immunity under some circumstances.
