I believe she doesn't get along with women because she's too straightforward and doesn't have stereotypically ("socially acceptable" in your terms) female interests; she thinks hardware stores are fun places to be, for example, while she really doesn't give a damn about clothes for the most part. Also doesn't care for "chick flicks" or most anything else that goes with being a Sensitive Person. She does have some girl friends, but those I've met are an odd bunch themselves.

Then again, it could be that she resents her own vagina. I'll have to ask her sometime when we're really bored and have run out of more interesting things to talk about.
