My title is "Associate" but that really just means I do what I am told as I am the youngest, and therefor least experienced, in a very small engineering design firm. We pretty much develop, design, and help impliment the guts for biochemical facilities. The focus is on alternative fuels, but if that heads south because of the price of oil we are prepared to enter other industries.
Most days I work on engineering drawings, specifications, and general documents that help keep the business on track. Now and then I (will) go out to client locations (chemical plants) and help them figure out their problem and how to fix it.
At night I study business for my MBA. It's not a prestigious school, but it is very well thought of in the area and the part-time program is ranked in the top 20 by some news rag. I figure and MBA and a Chemical Engineering degree will be a rare enough combination that I will be able to earn decent salary and keep me on projects on find interesting.
Compliance auditor for a human resources/professional services/temporary staffing company. Basically I audit individual branches and make sure they are in compliance with federal law (I9s, W4s, etc.) when hiring people, and also following company policies on other matters. The job is about 50% travel.
It's a great job because my manager is in Michigan, meaning I pretty much set my own hours and have no day-to-day managerial interference, and everyone in the branch where I sit kisses my ass since they know I'll be auditing them. I also dont have to deal with pushy, needy clients, since it is entirely an operations role.
Studying history (and some religion on free studying points), with emphasis on the Middle East.
Working part time at a local Esso gas station.
Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God.-Isaiah 41:10 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made - Psalms 139.14a

Pay isn't great, but not bad for no education or college.
Just opened up a new casino this past week. So I haven't been on. Working 14 + hour days 7 days a week leaves little internet time. Actually I cancelled my internet as I was tired of Cox cable not being able to fix my internet. I also cancelled my tv service. They aren't getting another penny from me. Now my overtime is finished I ordered new inernet service. So I'm back... kinda.
