I'm not watching those. You're just making yourself look stupid for posting them like that. Why don't you post a sermon in context if you want to prove your point?
I'm sure in one of your clips he says, "America's chickens are coming home to roost." That's one snip that got everyone pissed off about, although it makes perfect sense to me.
“I heard Ambassador Peck on an interview yesterday did anybody else see or hear him? He was on FOX News, this is a white man, and he was upsetting the FOX News commentators to no end, he pointed out, a white man, an ambassador, he pointed out that what Malcolm X said when he was silenced by Elijah Mohammad was in fact true, he said Americas chickens, are coming home to roost.”
“We took this country by terror away from the Sioux, the Apache, Arikara, the Comanche, the Arapaho, the Navajo. Terrorism.
“We took Africans away from their country to build our way of ease and kept them enslaved and living in fear. Terrorism.
“We bombed Grenada and killed innocent civilians, babies, non-military personnel.
“We bombed the black civilian community of Panama with stealth bombers and killed unarmed teenage and toddlers, pregnant mothers and hard working fathers.
“We bombed Qaddafi’s home, and killed his child. Blessed are they who bash your children’s head against the rock.
“We bombed Iraq. We killed unarmed civilians trying to make a living. We bombed a plant in Sudan to pay back for the attack on our embassy, killed hundreds of hard working people, mothers and fathers who left home to go that day not knowing that they’d never get back home.
“We bombed Hiroshima. We bombed Nagasaki, and we nuked far more than the thousands in New York and the Pentagon and we never batted an eye.
“Kids playing in the playground. Mothers picking up children after school. Civilians, not soldiers, people just trying to make it day by day.
“We have supported state terrorism against the Palestinians and black South Africans, and now we are indignant because the stuff that we have done overseas is now brought right back into our own front yards. America’s chickens are coming home to roost.
“Violence begets violence. Hatred begets hatred. And terrorism begets terrorism. A white ambassador said that y’all, not a black militant. Not a reverend who preaches about racism. An ambassador whose eyes are wide open and who is trying to get us to wake up and move away from this dangerous precipice upon which we are now poised. The ambassador said the people we have wounded don’t have the military capability we have. But they do have individuals who are willing to die and take thousands with them. And we need to come to grips with that.”
The thesis of that sermon isn't "kill whitey." It's self-examination and social transformation. In fact, in that very sermon he said we need to declare war on racism. But parts of that speech were taken out of context to mean "kill whitey."

I am not concerned about Obama's or Palin's pastors, apparently witch-hunting is still very common in Africa. Well okay I am concerned about witch hunting preachers but that's because they ruin the lives of innocent women. Religion in general attracts weirdos of these stripes and is why sane people avoid all religions like the plague.

And the dems are making their attacks on a person who may never be president, while their top candidate has similar experience issues... Hypocrisy... a two way street here.
So you are still missing the point, and I'm calling you on it
I think they both lack the experience.
So calling someone a hypocrite is now hypocrisy? Sorry I'm not an expert on GOP doublethink.
The point is: Palin has NO experience and Obama has some... enough in my book, not enough for his political enemies. I'm shocked, I guess.
As for McCain, he looks like he doesn't even want the job anymore. I can't blame him.

This just in: McCain's chief-of-staff (Mark Buse) is gay.
Take that, evangelical voters!
"The issue is there are still many people out there that use religion as a crutch for bigotry and hate. Like Ben."

Sarah Palin is George W. Bush as a woman and with his bad characteristics magnified - hell, I attribute all the secrecy of W's White House to having Cheney there, but Sarah Palin doesn't need a prince of darkness.
That people here are gladly waiting to put her a heartbeat away from the Presidency after the last 8 years tells me that if this country is going down the drain, we have the voters to blame. Remeber, fool me one, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me.
After she thanks her witch hunting preacher she hands the microphone to another member or her church and the guy says that Armaggedon is doing to wipe out the lower 48 states and everyone who survives is going to take refuge in Alaska. Holy ****, there has to be more wacky redneck Christian ****e to come from this.

No experience?... she was governor of a state
Most of Obama's time in his limited national senate career was spent running for the presidency.
The rest of his experience was as a democratic chicago machine state senator. I'm glad you consider this good enough to run the country
It's all a matter of perspective. Both have very limited experience. And that's the only point I'm trying to make.
For either side to point at the other, and not raise the same issue about their own candidate is simply silly.

Obama in his own words regarding his level of experience: You know, I am a believer in … in knowing what you’re doing when you apply for a job. Uh, and I think that … if I were seriously to consider running on a national ticket, I would essentially have to start now, before having served a day in the Senate. Now there may be some people who are comfortable doing that, but I am not one of those people. — 2004

I'll agree to limited. I think, personally, the amount of experience Obama has coupled with his judgement qualifies him. McCain hasn't impressed me, especially this last week with his beleagured response to the S&L financial crisis. I guess we'll just see in November.
