    Well on Thursday I watched a seventh anniversary documentary on 9/11 on History Channel.

    What was interesting and very moving about this documentary, was that the entire documentary was of first-hand, live footage of amateur video takers in New York City on that dreadful day.
    A lot of Republicans are not racist, but a lot of racists are Republican.

      Well yea, and 9/11 happened on their watch. Watching the RNC one might think it happened on someone elses watch if they didn't know better. But then reasonable people watching that should have got the feeling that republicans are fascist. It's pretty clear. They don't have to make sense when they use that strategy.         It happened because Clinton never did anything to dissuade terrorism. Blame Bush for it if you want. He had just taken over.

          It happened because of US foreign policy since WWII. But the point is that the republicans are making it out to be all democrats fault. Clinton isn't innocent but that doesn't make what the GOP is doing right.

            No, I voted against Bush, Sr. because he let Hussein go, to get along with the U.N.; after that, Clinton did not a damned thing. Look it up. Don't take my word for it. Look up Cole, embassies, barracks, look on.

              Hussein? You can't be serious with that Texan. Hussein had nothing to do with 9-11. Oh, and sorry Clinton didn't invade enough random countries that you don't like.

                    I was actually visiting my friends at Georgia Tech, a last hurrah before I was to head up north to UChicago.

                    I passed by the telescreens in the student center showing the towers aflame.

                    I thought it was some Schwarzenegger-esque action movie.

                    How wrong I was.

                        Clinton had done quite a bit, actually, and Bush dismantled most of it immediately. That's the historical record and the facts. Look it up if you don't believe me. Or don't. Facts were never your strong point.

                          The biggest thing Clinton did was come close to dismantling the military. Whole towns closed along with bases. WTF. Rude people, that jack any kind of thread (even a memorial thread), should be shot.
