  • My opinion is it doesn't matter if its a Republican or a Democrat.

    And history clearly shows that.

Not that it would make any difference to your forum diarrehea.

The republican base is a bunch of military nuts. Just look at some of them on this website. Your opinion isn't well thought out.

        3) Given 2, 1 simply wasn't enough.
South Vietnam was simply a fiction invented to justify intervention in internal Vietnamese affairs.

The North Vietnamese beat you, utterly. They knew what it would take to win, and they won, utterly.

No the Dems are going to lose because a majority of Americans are authoritarian retards. You're just a fundamentally stupid people, as is evidenced by the strong hold religion has all over you.

Hell, your nation spends all its time drooling and jerking off to itself, so it's not like we didn't already know.

I used to think that New Zealanders were political idiots until I watched one of your elections. We're a nation of Platonic philosopher kings compared to you saps.

In all fairness, that's not what he said. He said that political affiliation is not historically correlated all that strongly with starting wars. Of course there is the modern Republican Neoconservative hooey, and FDR didn't exactly "start" WWII, but you're not really addressing his point.

I did address his point, which is that democrats are just as likely to start wars as repuplicans.

Obama's comment is something I've never heard associated with "Bush Doctrine". It's like he made up a definition.

I guess you don't remember that Saddam Hussein wanted to negotiate with the US, but Bush refused becasue they didn't meet certain conditions.

Yes, but as far as I remember, I've NEVER heard the Bush Doctrine defined as: "only speaking to leaders of rogue nations if they first meet conditions laid out by the United States."

                    • What a tempest in a teacup. Nobody knows what the Bush Doctrine is.
I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. Remember this if ever you are stranded in these parts. ~ Rudyard Kipling, 1891

McCain's been taking some heat from this and some other ads. It's becoming a lot easier to label him as a person who'd "rather lose his integrity than lose an election."

You're spelling Doctrine with a capital D. Why would you assume that he was using the term like that?

Nice try, but it's pretty obvious that Obama isn't that stupid.

Palin on the other hand gets her information from redneck moose hunters and FOX news.
