In my 50 years I've seen more claims from both sides about how they are going to make things so much better, and here we are. Pretty much meaningless all around. They get their piece of the pie and move on. So here am I giving a crap again. What an idiot. Nevertheless I'm dragged back in by what politicos say. I know I can't trust them but hell, why not give this latest dynamic duo a shot.

Either side is ok though. If my guys win, great. If not, fine. I depend on myself, not the ****ing government. It does seem though that people really do get worked up about this stuff like its going to make a difference. You would think we would learn.

My advice is...

I really can't see how this election is so exciting. But apparently people are honestly considering the republicans. I would think that even the wealthy would realize that they need to ease back for a few years or else it will all end in disaster.

I think the reason for this is that I didn't think Kerry or Gore would make things better. Electing them meant that Bush wouldn't get a chance to make things worse.

However in this election, IMHO, Obama has about a 20% chance of making things better. McCain has no chance and, if elected, will make things worse. If Prez McCain dies, Prez Palin stands a good chance of being even a worse President than Bush. So, there's a lot to lose.
