    It seems like the key phrases this time are "middle class" and "tax cuts". One wonders how much they will matter after the election.

    Things like this are a significant downside of a two-party (first past post) system, you get powerful special interest groups which are in a pocket of either of the parties. It's not like Zkribbler is the only poster guilty of this, either.

    Spin, spin, spin. Reality has nothing to do with it.

          1.) Not support the surge and support an immediate withdrawl regardless of anything?
          2.) Carbon copyMcCain's Iraq plan since?
          3.) Reverse himself on drilling?
          4.) Fail to have a sane nuclear policy?

              Are you aware of the definition of "immediate"? Find me one thing that says he's going to pull all troops out within the week is takes office, or anything to that effect. We've had this argument before and you lost. You must be desperate for points.

              I don't know about the drilling, frankly I don't care. From what I understood he doesn't want to stop drilling but he doesn't want to use it as the "solution" to oil prices. I'm willing to bet you just don't comprehend the intricacies of a nuanced position, since you're used to Bush's "I hate the towel heads" approach to governance.

              If Obama carbon copied McCain's Iraq plan then how come your first point was how Obama had a policy of pulling the troops out of Iraq immediately? Is that also McCain's plan, or are you just too stupid to construct a simple point-form post?

              Finally, "sane nuclear policy" is subjective and given that you're a loyal eager brownnoser in the military that conducts unlawful wars and supports torture, I'm guessing your sanity is a little suspect at this point.

                Hey...This Obama thing may not be so bad...

                1.) Cut taxes to 95% of woking families! (Even though a huge percentage of them had no federal tax liability last year)
                2.) Invest hundreds of billions in research!
                3.) Exercise line item control over the budget (That will be cool to see since there is no line item veto!)
                4.) My kid gets Govie help to go to college!
                5.) My Grandkid can start getting Govie indoctrination earlier in life!
                6.) Obama is going to help me get a good paying job that is not "out sourceable"!
                7.) Obama is going to help me get a new car!
                8.) My health care insurance premium will go down, and my coverage will go up!
                9.) All my kids teacher's are getting a raise! (Even though they work for the county and not the federal government)

                Somehow I will even be able to afford a higher standard of living even though Corporations will pass huge tax hikes on to me in the form of higher prices!

                Even better, our economy will explode even though the people with capital to invest will be discouraged from doing so by higher taxes on their returns and much higher taxes on their income!

                Maybe this guy is a miracle worker! We are saved!!!!!!
