What do you mean he brings no new states? He brings Delaware into the fold.
Well, I've never liked Biden, but I think he's a good choice for veep. Veeps don't get picked to bring states anymore (Bush would have won Wyoming without Cheney, Clinton would have won Tennessee without Gore, Bush I would have won Indiana without Quayle, etc.). Veeps get picked to do 3 things.
