        Why, it's not Sci Fi.

Not enough earlier films on your list, -Jrabbit.

How is Repo Man sci-fi? Ok I guess there was the Chevy Malibu, but is that enough to qualify?
            Unbelievable!

                A Clockwork Orange
                Charly
Men In Black close but no cigar
                Galaxy Quest
I, Robot Book is definately top ten. For books. The film doesn't deliver
                Enemy Mine
                Repo Man
                Hellboy...maybe
Minority Report WTF? The story is good in writting, the film is no way top 30, even top 50.
                Total Recall
                Slaughterhouse Five
12 Monkeys Possibly #1 for some people

                The Abyss
                A Scanner Darkly
                Robocop
The Fifth Element probably my #1, until I see Blade Runner...
Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy Not brilliant, still ok though

Nah, for Sci-Fi I'd have to rate the original Matrix as my #1. It was the first film that I really thought about the concepts in the film, I was only 11 when I first watched it.

Actually, would WALL-E be classed as SF?

                            WALL-E #1 > All other SF.

Yes, that's why I referred to the sci-fi-ish Chevy Malibu story arc, but IIRC it was just one small-to-medium element thrown into a nonsensical plot that was as un-sci-fi as could be. Then again I was pretty wasted.

WALL-E had serious plot holes. They don't detract from it being a wonderful story, but they would keep it from being better than other Sci-Fi stories.
