I just don't get why people think V for Vendetta is a good movie. Rehashed drivel.

I thought it was an interesting film, mostly visually though. The plot was pretty mediocre, but it was probably new to a lot of people.

They did mention that in Eternal Sunshine, the sci-fi was the "hook" of the movie and that's all.

The problem is that most people have an entirely inaccurate definition of 'sci-fi'. (Hence this list.)

SF is defined by a certain kind of story, not by the presence of robots and lasers.

In one sense, ESOTSM was quite SF. In another sense, it wasn't. Hence why I don't strike it.
