Is it war games to you?
Your loyal pet monkey Sukashvili is responsible for the slaughtering of civilians, not us.
You should have better controlled your puppet, if you really care about the innocent lives.
Or lives of the South Ossetian civilians worth nothing to you? I guess so.

    • You speak English like it's your native language.

And I think Chinese would have a bit different attitude towards Russia
Why would any Chinese support Russia's spoiling of the Olympics? Frankly, the lack of respect shown to your supposed Chinese friends is insulting.

      • Those might not have been Moscow's conditions for success.

        Lets see what Russia accomplished.

        1) United NATO

        2) Achieved a missile agreement for Poland

        3) Pissed off the entire free world.

        4) Made it so Russia can't pull a rowboat in or out of their big Black Sea base in the Ukraine without a note from their teacher.

        5) Didn't fool anyone with the SO/Russian provocation of Georgia*

*This may or may not be proved by the UN and Human Rights watch. I'm adding it to the list because I know Russia. That said, I also knew Iraq had WMD so I'm waiting for the evidence and adding this blurb as a disclaimer.

Anyway, if these were Putin's objectives, good job.

And our intentions were pretty clear from the beggining:
            a) to save South Ossetian civilians (most of the Russian citizens) and Russian peacekeepers from the aggression started by your Georgian puppet
            b) did all necessary to prevent that happen again in near future (read - destroy the aggressor's military capabilities).

That explains things a bit. So, you aren't a true Chinese then.

Ukraine has no legal authority, and far less actual physical ability, to set conditions on the activities of Russia's Black Sea Fleet.

Crimea is one of those parts of the Ukraine that has distrincly pro-Russian leanings (with twice as many ethnic Russians as Ukranians living there.)

                  6) Saved its 500 peacekeepers and thousands, if not tens of thousands of civilian lives.
                  7) Stopped the aggressor's attempt to conquer the South Ossetia.
                  8) Destroyed the agressor's capability to repeat its aggression within foreseeable future.

I spent my vacation last year there. The Crimea looks like a Russian region. Everybody are speaking Russian there, Russian flags are everywhere in Sevastopol. And it's not really surprising since it's a Russian city, founded by Russians, populated by Russians and defended by Russians during its history.

Russia has no right to interfere in the internal affairs of another sovereign nation. If Russia had any respect for international law and the UN Charter, they would remove their troops from all of Georgia, including both South Ossetia and Abkhazia. They won't, however, as Putin is no different than Bush.

Youshenko can shove it in his ass. We have signed an agreement which says we'll stay there untill 2017 and doesn't say a single word about notification of Ukrainian side about our fleet activities.
So basically, they can pretty much ****-off.
