WTF does that have to do with anything? I suggest you look up the meaning of the term ceasefire and see if it has to do with the feelings the combatants have for one another.

As long as you have control over them, yes. But there has just been a war, with all disorder that comes with it.

No, looting and pillaging or whatever are always a warcrime regardless. And Russia has every ability to control the irregulars who marched in with their own damn columns if they wanted, SO is hardly in any position to disobey the orders of their masters.

It seemed to work fine in 1991.

Yes, that's why we're talking about it today.

Is the Iraqi Army in another country at our behest? Hell, is it even under our command? No. No. You Fail.

Is it even looting for that matter? Jesus, you guys can't make a valid comparison to save your life

                  Double headed eagle

                  Rah sent me

Is Russia a double headed eagle?

Looks like the president and Putin are not in tune. One says No, the other is saying Yes, to Georgia cease fire.

                  Some background info ...

The RSFSR used to tightly control the former Soviet republics, and where has that **** gotten us?

The point is, you can't control all unforeseen or even foreseen factors. You should know that.

Wow, Russia couldn't forsee that the very irregular militia who actually started this war in the first place with Russia support or at the very least blind eye (while breaking a ceasefire no less) would not honor the current ceasefire?

Russia has every ability to make SO do whatever the hell they want. The fact that they are not says alot about Russia.

No, you're in their country without their behest. ****, what a paradox.

Hell, without your commands and oversight, the Iraqi army would rather take a **** on you, rather than save their own lives. They mostly prefer to dessert, anyway. Why is that?

And why the **** would you bring up looting? You think Russia told them to go loot?

Soldiers are seldomly told to loot (these days anyway)

The will decide to loot if they feel they're being underpaid and really don't give a ****.

Two traits normally attributed to Russian troops.
