So this is how it will go.

We go to BQ and get your pic taken, paying a tiny bit extra for them to do it quickly. All this happens to happen at BQ where you watched the amazing singing girl..
Then we go to the copy lady outside the bank and copy the pic page of your passport and other pic ID.
After that we fart around for a bit and go to the photo place to pic up your pics.
With all in hand we go into the bank and sit down with our friendly lady banker who we've gotten to know a bit.
You give her the $100 and a check for at least $400 in order that the account has no charge. A few weeks later its in your account, but I get ahead of myself. You also give your pics, your copies, and we give our well worn (from its service to Aeson) electric bill and say the words 'he's with us'. You then fill out some paperwork, ignoring all that personal financial sillyness, and they do their magic and that's it.

Edit: onodera says 2009 has flying cars and FTL space travel. I'm still stuck in 2008. Is what he's saying true?? It sounds cool.

Well no, I'm not thinking about those kinds of seeds. Besides, I'm thinking of taking the oregano seeds and sticking them in the dirt and taking what grows and putting it in the sauce...and as soon as they do and I do its dinner time.

My 2 boxes haven't arrived yet, huh? According to the guys at BPI, the boxes should have arrived this week. My vacation clothes are in the first one (so I could travel even lighter). Looks like I might have to pack more than I planned.

Nothing yet. Our Christmas boxes arrived a few days after Christmas so... Maybe soon. As soon as the first arrives I'll post about it.

Also, remember once you deposit a check into your soon to be new account it will take 3 weeks to a month to clear. Your trip will last 3 weeks... dunno what you can do about that. Regarding buying property, it might slow things a bit, might not. I just dunno.

In the U.S., it only takes a week! I see efficiency is not BPI's strongpoint.

I'm packing now and realize I'm running up against Zkribbler's Law.
If I don't pack more clothes, the clothes I shipped won't arrive until just before I return.
If I do pack more clothes, the clothes I shipped will be there waiting for me when I arrive.
