A little cynical for my tastes, but this political ad is a dandy.

Hard-hitting. Funny. Something for everyone. Even NRA members get a shout out.

I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. Remember this if ever you are stranded in these parts. ~ Rudyard Kipling, 1891

I'd settle for him to show up in Congress and vote.
But that isn't going to happen.
He's too busy doing something else.

Not what I call leadership attributes.
It's almost as if all his overconfident, absolutist assertions were spoonfed to him by a trusted website or subreddit. Sheeple

Where is the funny part? The article DD posted recently was funnier.

              Bebro is German.

Why do you think Obama was canvassing his constituency?

That's nice, but what does it have to do with anything?

                  I weep for Republicans.
                  They have no popluarity.
They have no ideas except disproven theories.
They have no vision of the future.

And so they're left at trying to poke fun at people who do.

                  Obama may be the One.
                  But McCain is the Zero.

How often is McCain making it back to vote?

(I'm totally open to being pwn'd here, as I have no earthly idea if McCain has been voting or not)

McCain's absenteeism has been much worse than Obama's over the past couple years.

Given his new positions on issues, I'm not sure I mind this .

Maybe they're both trying to avoid being recorded as having voted for things which will become liabilities to them.

Yes, but McCain isn't rah's senator.

                              From the Washington Post:
