It's the union's fault, you know. If you extort your employer to the point that they go under, there's not much to complain about."What did you learn in school today, dear little boy of mine?

I'm not at all surprised you think government regulation and the socioeconomic climate hasn't changed at all since the 1800s. Unions keep clinging to the past, and you're no different. Wake up and smell the 21st century.
Are Toyota and Honda's factory workers being paid starvation wages?"The issue is there are still many people out there that use religion as a crutch for bigotry and hate. Like Ben."

The Olympics doesn't contain anything I'm interested in since they did away with tug of war. Besides, the Disney Channel games will be on.Long time member @ Apolyton

Let there be no comparison between them and workers from civilized countries."The issue is there are still many people out there that use religion as a crutch for bigotry and hate. Like Ben."

Part of the problem is you guys put all of your effort into extorting money from big American car companies, airlines, etc. to the point that they go bankrupt -- all of that energy going into extortion should go into lobbying the government to raise minimum wages to reasonable levels. That way everyone gets reasonable wages, not just people who choose to extort to earn unfairly high wages with absurd benefits.
The comparison to Honda and Toyota is apt. Honda and Toyota may be "japanese companies", but their workers in North America earn competitive salaries with ample benefits without having to use a union. You're clearly uncomfortable talking about them because they make an absolute mockery of the need for unions in the 21st century, and I don't blame you for trying to shift the topic..."The issue is there are still many people out there that use religion as a crutch for bigotry and hate. Like Ben."
