Manischewitz literally is nothing more then concord grape juice (food not wine grapes) with a bunch of sugar added. They have some good kosher wines out there but Manischewitz isn't one of them.
BTW, I believe they do ferment the stuff, even if they add more sugar later than they lost to the yeast. So remove that "literally." Boux-y'a, as the French in France say.Comment

A 400 year old wine is served here at some royal gala dinners. It is mixed with regular vintage wines - and little bowls of sugar have their place next to each glass.

The current fad for halfwits dismissing Merlot is always fun. I like to get them on one of their rants, whilst they are similarly climaxing with joy over the lovely right-bank Bordeaux I've plied them with, completely unaware that they're drinking a really good Merlot.
