Hmmm, I wonder why so many Black middle class people are so angry at America? Maybe it's because they're oppressed as middle class?
Christianity: The belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree...
Or, maybe because they are so use to getting what they ask for based on race, and since they no longer get it once they reach middle class they assume it's oppression. Many people have entitlement issues, most minorities are very quick to pull the race card because of it.

Yeah, that must be it.

Also, please compare the number of "black middle class people who are angry at America" with the number of "white middle class people who are angry at America" as well as the number of "middle class people who are angry at America." Couldn't do this without a control, after all. Thanks.

Petit Bourgeoisie? They're just tools of the capitalists. Don't believe their lies.

Yeah, I'm gonna do a research paper for you. There is plenty of work out there for you to go read. Let's start with something easily accessible, Killing Rage, by bell hooks. There was also a Time magazine piece on the angry Black middle class in the mid 90s. Go look it up. Then stick it up your ass for being such a pompous *****.

It's kind of hard to tell what is racism and what is a result of the dreadful socio-economic situation a lot of black people find themselves in.
But how much of "the dreadful socio-economic situation a lot of black people find themselves in" is a result of past racism and systematic oppression?
On a side but related note, I find it interesting that race is being associated with minorities in this thread, but women are seldom mentioned.

Probably a lot of it, but I don't see how that's relevant to what we should be doing today. I don't believe in making up for past wrongs; I believe in making things right.

No, instead of doing a research paper for me, you're going to read sources that you agree with and then get angry when other people haven't come to the same conclusions as you.
It would be really nice if you didn't think race was such a personal and important issue to you. Then you might be able to discuss it without resorting to name-calling. You know, my first girlfriend was black. So this is an important issue to me, too.
But lots of players are at the bottom of the hill, regardless of race. Unless you can specifically state which individuals within a minority race are discriminated against and which aren't, it is inefficient and discriminatory to give advantages to those of a particular race.
