rah, that's exactly what I thought. If he likes to dance, let him dance. Don't force him into programming, he obviously isn't too much into it, that's probably the thing that keeps him from going into game developing, as he doesnt' feel like learning it. That's a big mistake and a sign of "going to be average in it, probably hates it at some point".
He will find his field where he can put his talent into use, he should be able to do it on his own. If not, well, there's time. Me just thinks the time isn't now. Why fill his time with extra curriculars, if he already does sports?
