  • My best friend died.

My dog died at age 15 (heart attack). I knew him for a half of my life time. He was more than just a dog for me.
    Man, I'm crying...

My sincere condolences. The death of pets can be heartbreaking, I know the feeling.

        I know that hurts, Serb.

Awww. What breed was he, if you don't mind my asking?

Very sorry to hear that, Serb. A year and a half ago a family cat died at 15 years old (liver cancer). 6 months later our other cat's kidneys failed (she's 16 now), but she's still kicking around due to medicine but it won't be too long there either.

It really is like losing a family member.

Same was here. Last months he was there only due to medicine. He survived two heart attacks within last few days, today was third and he didn't make it.
I felt this is comming, but...

                Yes, it is.

Sounds like an awesome dog, Serb. I'm sure he'll be missed.

But more seriously, I'm sorry for your loss. It's rough, and no other pet will ever replace him, only succeed him.

Very sorry to hear this Serb. My dog also went for 15 years, and it was very painful when she went away. It was the first time, when it happened, that I had cried in years. So yes, it IS a big deal and it definitely matters. So. Sorry to hear this, I hope he had a good run.
