My favorite propaganda combo was 2 newsreels about the Chinese and the Japanese. One was from WWII and the other from the Korean war. In the WWII reel they showed a Chinese man smiling and waving at the camera, and he was described as "honest and happy" while if you had a chance to talk to the Japs- "don't!". The description of them was less flattering, and no pictures aside from sour-faced soldiers were shown. Flash-foward 10 years and it's reversed: smiling, happy, Japanese women in some Japanese city are our 'allies' while "communist Chinese" swarm across Korea.
